How you doing everyone, we're Rick and Patty Arvielo, owners of New American Funding. We're here to talk to you about the Mortgage Action Alliance, otherwise known as MAA. And we're asking you as our industry peers to talk to your staff about this, loan officers, processors, underwriters, everybody that relies on transactions to make a living. So much is happening in the United States of America at the federal level and at the state level so for the California Mortgage Bankers Association they too have a version of MA, that allows you to make your voices heard. Super simple to do, right? I even can do it. And after being a practitioner in this great business for 35 years it's really important to know that you do have a voice and I think that some of the things that we've been able to share with our employees here makes them wake up and feel proud they're a part of such an awesome industry as the mortgage banking industry. As far as Mortgage Action Alliance goes super simple you'll get a call to action and all you do is click a button it'll take you right to the site. You'll put in your zip code so the system knows who your state senator is and who your assembly man is on the California level or from a national level, it'll know who your senators and congressmen are and it pre-writes a letter about whatever that issue is. You can append that letter! You can take it, edit it, write what you want. Or just hit a button to send it. So simple, literally 2 button clicks give you an easy way to communicate right now with the people that will be making a decision on you and your pocketbook. Super important, again this is a call out to our industry peers, throw the doors open to your staff, let them know about this so they can become active and together we can affect the decisions that are being made that affect all of our income. So think about it, right? It's an awesome thing to get everybody in your organization involved, and making them feel like they're a part of something really big. That's it!
