"It's like alphabet soup -- the amount of recent data being released on the health of New Zealand arts industry is almost overwhelming. Phrases like "cultural segmentations", "Artform frequency index", "kick starting" and "cultural philanthropy" are all vying for our attention and understanding, and can leave our heads spinning. The rules-of-the-road appear to be changing in New Zealand (and I'm not talking about the new right-hand turn rule), and we're being asked to make sense of it all. HELP!
